The Indira Academy at Naharlagun was established in the year 1991 and since then it is being run by the Management of Alphabet Group of Schools' with better Infrastructure, Renovated Class rOoms, Laborites, Buildings Implementation of Technology and Sports Facilities etc

The school is Co-Educational with residential facilities for both Boys and Girls Students'. Classes are from Class Nursery to Class X. Trained facility members and skilled non teaching staffs' supporting to the school authority has lifted the institution to the next level now. The journey which started with only 43 Students in 1991 has now crossed 650 plus strength. The hard work of the School Management, School Authority, Teaching and Non- Teaching staff have made this institution as one of the renowned Educational Institution in the State (Arunachal Pradesh) and in the Capital Complex in particular.
